Who we are

PEIXES E FRUTOS DO MAR MARISCA LTDA, CNPJ 56.040.424/0001-34, a Brazilian limited liability company (sociedade empresária limitada) classified as a microenterprise (ME), trading as Marisca Camarão e Cia, with its registered office at Rua Antônio Eustáquio Piazza, 75, Letra B, Tirol, Belo Horizonte, MG, CEP 30662-050, Brazil. Primary activity: fish retail (CNAE 47.22-9-02). Secondary activities: meat retail, butcher shops (47.22-9-01) and general retail with a predominance of food products, minimarkets, groceries and general stores (47.12-1-00).

For the purposes of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018, LGPD), the company is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

Data we collect

• Contact and identification: name, email and phone or WhatsApp number, when a customer writes through the form, by email or calls the store.
• Orders: product, quantity, pickup date and any notes the customer provides to reserve fish, meat or grocery items.
• Tax data: CPF or CNPJ and address, only when the customer asks for an itemized tax invoice or when a business makes the purchase.
• Suppliers: legal name, CNPJ, banking and contact details needed for purchases and payments.
• Job applicants: name, contact details and résumés sent spontaneously for openings.
• Browsing: IP address, browser, device and pages visited, logged by the infrastructure that hosts the site.

The contact form on this site stores nothing on a server of our own: it simply opens the visitor's email app with the message filled in, and the message is sent from the visitor's own email account.

Purposes

• Fulfill orders, reservations and special requests for fish, seafood, meat and grocery items;
• Answer questions about products, availability and pickup;
• Issue tax invoices and meet tax, health and accounting obligations;
• Manage purchases from and payments to suppliers;
• Review résumés received for openings at the store;
• Keep the website and our communications secure.

Sharing

• Service providers: our accounting firm, hosting and email providers, invoicing systems and payment processors, always under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent needed for the contracted service;
• Public authorities: the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, health surveillance agencies and other authorities, when required by law or by court order;
• Suppliers: only the order details needed to pick or deliver goods.

No other sharing takes place without a legal basis or the data subject's consent.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting and network provider may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security and for the page to work. Visitors can block cookies in their browser without affecting their ability to contact the store.

Retention

• Order data: until pickup or cancellation, and for as long as needed to handle any exchange or complaint;
• Tax and accounting records: for the legally required periods, generally 5 years;
• Supplier data: for the duration of the business relationship and the applicable legal periods;
• Résumés: for up to 6 months after receipt, unless deletion is requested earlier;
• Data processed on the basis of consent: until consent is withdrawn.

Once these periods end, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Under article 18 of the LGPD, data subjects may ask the company for:

• Confirmation that processing takes place and access to their data;
• Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed in breach of the law;
• Portability to another provider, subject to the regulator's rules;
• Information about the entities with which their data has been shared;
• Withdrawal of consent and information about the option not to give it;
• Objection to processing carried out without consent, where it is irregular.

Security

• The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS);
• Access to the store's email and systems is limited to authorized people, each with their own credentials;
• Tax and registration documents are kept in a location with controlled access;
• The routines described in this policy are reviewed periodically.

If a security incident occurs that may cause significant risk or harm to data subjects, the company will notify the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) and the people affected within the legal deadlines.

International transfers and external links

The hosting and email services the company uses may keep servers outside Brazil. When that happens, the transfer relies on the grounds set out in chapter V of the LGPD, such as countries with an adequate level of protection or contractual clauses offering equivalent safeguards. This site may link to third-party pages; this policy does not cover those pages, which have their own rules.

This policy may be revised whenever the law, our services or our practices change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the revision date shown at the top. We recommend checking it from time to time.
